Description:

The Model 340 was the cut down version of the Model 360. The Model 340 had a 68030 CPU and 68882 floating point processor both running at 16.67MHz. Bundled versions of the Model 340 included: Model 340MH (98563G, $7,995), Model 340C+ (98564C, $8,495), Model 340CH (98564G, $10,995), Model 340CHX (98564G Opt 556, $15,995), Model 340SRX (98573C, $14,900).The 340 and 345 came in a long (18-inch) form factor with only a single expansion slot.

The Model 345 was introduced in 1990 and replaced the Model 360. The 345 came with a 68030 processor and 68882 coprocessor, both running at 50 MHz. Bundled versions of the Model 345 included: Model 345MH (98563H, $8,995), Model 345C+ (98564H, $12,495) Model 345CH (98578H, $14,995), Model 345SRX (98573H, $19,995) and Model 345 TurboSRX (98573J, $23,995).

As of 2014, the five 340 and 345 models we have at the museum are fully operational.
