The HP 12079A LAN/1000 Link Direct Driver Access (DDA) product consists of the manual at the link below. The primary purpose of this manual is to allow programmatic access to the LAN/1000 Link interface driver ID*67, which is provided with the HP 92077A RTE-A Operating System.
In operation with the hardware interface, the driver provides the means by which user-level software can access and communicate on the LAN. For example, system-to-system communication and node configuration capabilities on the LAN are provided by HP 91790A (NS-ARPA/1000), HP 98170A (ARPA/1000), and Node Manager software, all of which access ID*67.The manual at the link below is intended for the application programmer who desires to provide custom services utilizing ID*67 and the LAN/1000 Link hardware interface.
