Description:
The 9864A was developed as the digitizer for the 9830, and was subsequently connected to other computers as well. It was a very large unit with a separable digitizing platten, power supply/controller unit, digitizing puck and interface cable. The 9864A had an active digitizing area of 17 inches by 17 inches. The 9107A preceded the 9864A. It was identical to the 9864A but came with an interface for the 9100A/B.
