Description:
THe 40299A was an 8-channel multiplexer for HP 9000 Series 800 computers. The cable you need to connect to your distribution panel is 40299-60003. This cable has DB9 connectors at each end (male at the computer end and female at the panel end). Pin 1 of the cable is not used. The other 8 pins go straight through (eg 2->2, 3->3, 4->4, etc).
